Come Play with PBTC!
Do you have a little one who puts on shows in the living room? A big kid who does all the school plays? Give them the chance to explore their theatrical side this fall with PBTC! Taught by theatre and education professionals from the Philadelphia area, our programs give your children the chance to develop existing skills and explore new ones. In each session, our students will create a fully-realized children's show, which will be presented on December 7th. Please be aware that due to the tight production schedule, we will require students to attend every weekly class.
All Classes will Meet Via Zoom
Our 1st Level class is an 8 week program designed for students in grades 1st-3rd. We will create a brand-new play based on a popular children's story, as well as all of the costumes, props and set pieces. Class days are Tuesday from 4-4:45pm, and are broken up into rehearsal sessions, arts & craft sessions, and theatre games.
Our 2nd Level class is a 12 week program designed for students in grades 4th-6th. This session will allow students the opportunity to create a brand-new play while venturing further into different areas of theatre via breakout sessions with theatre professionals. These areas include costuming, props, lighting, set dessign, and acting. Sessions are designed for all skill levels! Class days are Monday from 4-5pm.
Both class levels will culminate in performances via Zoom!

Join us for a free fun filled afternoon of play! In this one day workshop students will hone their improv skills through various exercises and apply those skills to a scene from a Shakespeare play. Students will be encouraged to make bold choices in real time as they move through the scene just like the actors did in Shakespeare's time!

Children, grades 4-6th will completely prepare a production of a published work. Your child will choose either the performance track or the production track. Both experiences offer an incredibly fun learning experience
