Teyquil Skelton is a singer, songwriter, producer, writer, actor, and all-around performer, born and raised in Philadelphia. Influenced by indie pop, electro, and synth elements, Teyquil's music has remnants of a good ol' 80's vibe that take you back to the nostalgia of a significant era of music with a modern twist. Artists like David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Marc Bolan, The Cure, The Smiths, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Trent Reznor, James Blake, Troye Sivan, Robyn, Royksopp. and Sasha Sloan have inspired Teyquil's musical style. Currently, in production on his debut singles, Teyquil creates music filled with ambient sounds, feathered strings, thick bass, and sad boy chords filled with emotions that connect to more progressive upbeat heavy bass and synthesizers.

On his radio broadcast shows, Teyquil has interviewed countless artists like Richie Ramone of the Ramones, Bikini Kill, Wayne Kramer of MC5, Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, The Weathers, Noah Sierota of Echosmith, and Virgin Records recording artist, Girli. You can catch Teyquil's shows at: mixlr.com/paranoid_radio. His punk rock broadcast called Paranoid Radio airs on the last Saturday of every month, at 7 pm CDT and 8 pm EST. The indie pop broadcast called EMOTION ROBOT airs the last Sunday of every month, at 7 pm CDT and 8 pm EST.

Another way that Teyquil channels his creativity and love of music is through writing. For some time, he has been contributing articles to THATMAG Magazine. His creative explorations have focused on acts like Alice Longyu Gao, Iyla Blue, Tove Lo, Public Enemy, Toby, and more.

Teyquil looks forward to continuing to explore many different avenues of creative expression for many years to come. Follow him on his website and social media channels for updates on his latest projects.
